The main criteria for evaluating vacancies

Duties

Carefully evaluate the tasks that you have to perform, and clarify all the questions at the interview. If the potential responsibilities are below your level of competence, then the work will be a burden, despite the fact that it will be easy to carry out - time in boredom stretches harder. If the tasks are comparable or slightly higher than your capabilities, then there is a field for growth, improvement of skills and the acquisition of useful experience. If you feel that you will not be able to cope with the duties, then it is better not to take risks - you will save a lot of nerves and avoid a lot of unpleasant situations, conversations and, possibly, dismissal not of your own free will. Take on difficult tasks if you are really confident in your abilities.
Position and team

Pay attention to the status of the future position and learn more about the team. To perform important tasks, you need appropriate authority, and sometimes help. Sometimes employers set such tasks for one employee, which is not easy for the three of us to cope with. If you apply for the position of head of the advertising department, the salary of which depends on the results, and then it turns out that there is only one person in the department, and that recent student, this is unlikely to please you.
Working conditions

At work, we spend most of our time, besides productivity and results directly depend on our comfort. Therefore, do not forget to look at the office of the company and the general working environment. The distance from home to work also plays an important role. Even a comfortable and profitable job can be ruined by the daily 4-hour adventure on the road. It is better to measure this distance with travel time, and not in kilometers - a small distance can lose its advantage with constant traffic jams and inconvenient traffic intersection, and a large mileage will seem inconspicuous thanks to the metro.
Prospects

It is also important to evaluate the capabilities of the company in order to slightly anticipate your future in it. Has the company had a recent growth? How promising is the scope of its activities? Is career growth and salary increase real? Keep in mind that career advancement in one company is more comfortable and safer than jumping from place to place.
Income

The salary you are promised must be real. If half of the amount depends on various factors, then check and evaluate how all conditions are feasible. Do not forget to find out all the intricacies of the so-called “social package” - free meals, paying for a mobile phone, travel, sick leaves and other little things can outweigh the benefits of a higher salary in another company, or vice versa - they can be overrated.

The requests, desires and circumstances of the candidates are different. Someone like the monotonous tasks that can be leisurely performed, some love real challenges, some prefer a horizontal career, others are eager for career growth, some will have enough chairs with four legs, while others cannot work without a soft office chair. Everything is very individual, therefore it is important that this individuality be comparable with the offer and opportunities of the employer. Feel free to ask questions in order to be able to correctly evaluate the proposed vacancy.

Hourly pay: is it profitable?

Today, there are many ways to reward employees. Recently, hourly pay has become increasingly popular. Is it profitable? This form is used in areas where the norm exists, and quality indicators are established. What is the advantage of this form of remuneration? If you often linger at work, such effort will be rewarded. You can also combine several jobs in which you will know exactly what salary awaits you. But with such payment, the complexity is the calculation of wages for each employee. In addition, a lot depen...

Justified lie at the interview

If you ask employers whether they consider lying in a resume or in an interview an acceptable way to impress, then, of course, they will all answer negatively. It is believed that lying harms candidates more than the unfavorable truth. But how much does the theory actually correspond to practice, and can there be a lie for the good? If you look at it a little from the other side, the correctly presented information that emphasizes your merits serves as further proof that you are interested in working. Truth to the detriment Consider two questions, the false answers in which can be considered justified if the truth does not work in your favor. "Why did you leave your previous job?" If in fact the reason is a terrible leader, downsizing, low salary or poor relations with colleagues, then a different answer would be more acceptable. Indeed, it is categorically impossible to speak badly of the former bosses or colleagues. Because the potential employer will project this rel...
